SharePoint Online – Access Denied to run SPD workflows

Issue: Workflows failed to run automatically when user adds new items OR change items.

Permissions: User has ‘Contribute’ access to the list and ‘Read’ access to the root site.

Resolution : User must have ‘Read’ access to the root site and ‘Contribute’ access to the associated list, Workflow History List & Workflow Task list.

 

Office 365- Let users reset their own passwords

Configure self-service password reset for AAD cloud directory.

1. Go to Azure AD.
2. Click on ‘Configure’ and enable ‘user password policy’
3. Send the following link to the users to set up their alternate phone number or email address.

Don’t lose access to your account.

Save List As Template option is not available

Problem : Save List As Template option is not available in SharePoint Online site.

Resolution : Enable the following options:

• Allow users to run custom script on self-service created sites
• Allow users to run custom script on personal sites.

Steps:

1. Go to SharePoint Admin center settings:
2. Enable the following options:

Now the ‘Save as template’ option will appear under list settings:
